Last call for training!
If you are interested in serving as an official this season, this weekend is the final opportunity to complete the required training. New officials begin with the Stroke & Turn role.
Anyone who would like to become an official must register for and attend both a classroom lecture and an on-deck training session this weekend (April 25–26). Our goal is for new officials to be listed as provisional officials before Time Trials on May 2.
Working your team’s Time Trials as a provisional official counts as one of the three NWAL swim meets required to become fully certified. Please note that you must already be provisional before Time Trials in order for that meet to count toward certification.
Stroke & Turn Training Options:
Saturday, April 25 at Walden Country Club - lecture at 9 am and on-deck at Noon - trainers will be Rob Morris and Tina Thibodeaux.
Saturday, April 25 at Deerfield Village - lecture at 8 am and on-deck at 10:30 am - trainers will be Chris George and Aaron Guerrero.
Sunday, April 26 at Fleet Natatorium - lecture at 9 am and on-deck at 11:30 am - trainers will be Russell Thomson and Joe Roth.
