Coach Megan swam competitively for 15 years, starting in club and high school before continuing at the Division I level at the University of the Incarnate Word  

What she loves most about coaching summer league is being part of each swimmer’s growth—both in and out of the water. Summer league is where she first discovered her passion for swimming, and she’s excited to help create that same confidence and excitement for our CP Stars swimmers.  

This season, Coach Megan is especially looking forward to the energy, team spirit, and unforgettable memories we’ll build together! 

Fun fact: She loves cooking and baking!

Coach Ve swam competitively for 9 years (plus 1 year recreationally) and has always loved being in the water — and still does! Their best event was the 400 IM with an impressive time of 4:51.82 (and maybe a comeback is in the works ). 

A little more about Coach Ve: Favorite color: Purple Obsessed with turtles & humpback whales Favorite games: Outlanders (PC) & Luigi’s Mansion (Switch) Loves being silly, goofy, and making practices fun! 

Coach Ve grew up in Huntley, Illinois and swam for: Huntley High School Huntley Stingrays Dundee Dolphins Palatine Park District Reach Aquatics 

We’re so excited to have Coach Ve bring her experience, energy, and fun-loving spirit to the Champions Park Stars this season!

Liz (Lizeth) is 20 years old and has been swimming for 11 years, along with 5 years of water polo experience . Her passion for the water shines through in everything she does! 

One of Coach Liz’s favorite parts of coaching is helping swimmers build confidence, improve their technique, and watching their progress from the first practice to the final meet. She loves the energy of summer league — from fun practices to cheering swimmers on and seeing everyone grow while having a great time. 

Coach Liz is especially passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment and she’s committed to making sure every swimmer feels supported and never loses their love for the sport  

Fun facts about Coach Liz: She trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu — and placed 2nd in her very first competition! She has a 2-year-old cat named Mabel (the sweetest kitty ever!)
